Peter Obi, Labour Party Presidential Candidate in the 2023 elections, joined workers today at Eagle Square, Abuja, for May Day celebrations.
There was loud jubilation as Obi was massively hailed by the workers when he mounted the podium alongside Joe Ajaero, President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), among other labour leaders, to the chagrin of President Buhari who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
Other top federal government functionaries at the event include Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello; and the Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen.
