Sambo, Binani, Oyegun, Kwankwaso, Akande commission El-Rufai’s projects

In his last moves, Governor Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai yesterday dragged former Vice President Namadi Sambo, Chief Bisi Akande, Chief Odigie Oyegun and Senator Aisha Dahiru (Binani) among others, to Kaduna to commission fleet of projects, including roads, bridges and markets.

Other dignitaries, each of who commissioned one or two projects include former Kano State governor and presidential candidate of NNPP in the 2023 elections, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; former Borno State governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff; and former TETFUND chairman, Alhaji Kashim Imam, reports The Nation.

The invited dignitaries commenced the commissioning of some projects of the urban renewal programme of the Malam Nasir El-Rufai administration around 10:00am.

Former Interim National Chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande, commissioned the expanded Bida Road, while Senator Ali Modu Sheriff commissioned the Kabala Flyover by Aliyu Makama Road.

Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso commissioned the new Ungwan Rimi Market and the nearby School and Emir Roads, while Senator Aisha Dahiru (Binani) commissioned the dualized 5.73km Umaru Yar’adua Way, connecting Millennium City to the Eastern Bypass.
