Chelsea have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2026/27 season, with several players taking new shirt numbers ahead of the new campaign.
Striker Joao Pedro will wear the No.9 shirt after being named the club’s Player of the Year last season, reports AFP.
Wesley Fofana has also changed his number, with the French defender switching to the No.3 shirt.
Summer signing Morgan Rogers, who joined the Blues in July, has been handed the No.17 shirt.
Marco Palestra, Valentin Barco and Maxence Lacroix will wear the No.2, No.4 and No.5 shirts respectively.
Jordan Henderson has been assigned No.14, while Danny Welbeck will wear No.18 and Emmanuel Emegha No.22.
Geovany Quenda will wear No.23, while Pep Chavarria has been given No.29.
