The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has added 10 Nigerians to its “Worst of the Worst” register of criminal immigrants arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The latest names, published on the DHS website, are linked to offences including wire fraud, identity theft, drug offences, child related crimes, larceny, aggravated assault and weapons possession.
The development brings another batch of Nigerians into the spotlight of the Trump administration’s intensified immigration enforcement campaign.
The latest publication comes about seven weeks after the US authorities released a much larger list involving Nigerians.
The 10 Nigerians in the latest update were not included in that July list.
On July 9, 2026, DHS published the names and photographs of 124 Nigerians on the same register, with the individuals linked to various criminal offences.
Among those listed in the fresh names is Temitope Bashua, who is associated with wire fraud, identity theft and fraud in Allenwood, Pennsylvania.
Others include Ojehoro Lewis, listed in connection with cruelty toward a child in Conroe, Texas, and Franklin Dikeocha, whose case involves a sex offence against a child, specifically fondling, in Dallas, Texas.
Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe and Raymond H. Ekevwo were listed over wire fraud offences in Louisville, Kentucky, and Oxford, Wisconsin, respectively.
Johnson Ogunlana, in White Deer, Pennsylvania, is listed for fraud and identity theft, while Chukwuemeka Chinye, in Pollock, Louisiana, is associated with larceny from a banking type institution, fraud, larceny, identity theft and conspiracy.
Daniel Oworen, based in Conroe, Texas, is listed for dangerous drugs.
Chukwuemeka Okorocha, in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, faces a broader range of listed offences, including wire fraud, dangerous drugs, possession of a weapon and aggravated assault involving a non-family gun.
DHS said the register was established to draw attention to what it described as the “worst of worst criminal aliens” arrested by ICE.
“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations, starting with the worst of the worst, including the illegal aliens you see here,” the department said.
Despite the reference to mass deportations by DHS, neither the earlier publication nor the latest update gives a specific deportation date for the Nigerians listed.
The latest register also does not state that the 10 individuals have already been deported.
Instead, it identifies them as criminal immigrants arrested by ICE and sets out the offences associated with their cases.
The development represents a further expansion of the US authorities’ public register of Nigerians facing immigration enforcement action, rather than confirmation that all those named have been removed from the country.
