•The Howo Sino truck

Two persons died this morning in a crash that occurred at the Kara turning of the inward section of the Lagos – Ibadan expressway.

It was learnt that ten others were seriously injured in the accident that involved a white colour Mazda bus marked XV 945 EPE and an unregistered white and blue colour Howo Sino Truck, reports Nigerian Tribune.

The suspected causes of the crash were route violation and dangerous driving.

The injured victims had been taken to a private hospital, and the dead bodies were deposited at a mortuary in Sagamu.

While admonishing the motoring public, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Commander Anthony Uga, advised that drivers should shun all forms of driving against traffic (one way) and express caution while driving to avoid endangering their lives and the lives of other road users.

He reiterated that FRSC remains committed to creating a safer motoring environment and service delivery and seeks the cooperation of all and sundry to achieve this.
