Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has emerged as Africa’s highest-earning artiste on Spotify, cementing his position as one of the continent’s most influential musicians.

According to music statistics platform Chart Masters, Wizkid rakes in an impressive $1 million monthly from Spotify, placing him at the top of Africa’s earners on the platform.

The list, which features the top ten highest earners from Africa, underscores the dominance of Nigerian artistes in the global music scene.

Wizkid leads the pack, followed by Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy, who earns $782,148, and Tems, with $660,210. South Africa’s Tyla is the only non-Nigerian on the list, earning $607,804 and placing fourth.
