Yuletide: Lagos Parks and Gardens Agency organises free events for residents

The FrontierThe FrontierDecember 22, 2023 5690 Minutes read0

The Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) will commence a series of free-to-attend events for children during the Yuletide season.

The events kick off with a ‘Play Date’ for children between the ages of five and 10, on December 22, 2023.

It promises to be an exciting and fun-filled time for children to play, explore, create memories, make new friends, and enjoy the ambience of the parks.

Head of Public Affairs, Adekunbi Bakare, told newsmen that there will also be a ‘Fit ‘n’ Vibe’ dance fitness event for adults, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 8:00 a.m., and at 5:00 p.m., on the same day.

She said the agency will also host a movie evening for young adults to network and relax in a serene environment.

She said: “This is a yearly Yuletide season initiative by LASPARK to encourage Lagosians to embrace recreation and leisure as a culture in the midst of the hustle and bustle of daily life.

“All our parks are open throughout the Christmas holiday and we look forward to welcoming members of the public.”
