•Obafemi Lasode
A popular veteran music practitioner, Obafemi Lasode is dead.
Born in December 1955, Lasode gave up the ghost this morning.
This was made known in a chat with The Frontier today by former President of Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria, PMAN, Dr Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli.
The cause of the death was not however stated as at time of going to the press.
Tee Mac wrote: “Obafemi Lasode (born 4 December 1955), a Nigerian veteran musician, film director and producer, songwriter, music producer, and playwright died today. My condolences to all. Respectfully Dr Tee Mac.”
