Agada United Football Club grooms more talents

The hope and aspiration of youngsters to eek a living and make a career out of the game of football, has been rekindled with the admission of more talents into the Agada United Football Club.

According to the youthful coach and team manager of the Lagos-based football club, Emmanuel Ochum, recruitment and other activities are ongoing as the club aspires for greater heights, he informed The Frontier.

“Our hope remains to groom more talents, feature and compete in many engagements and grow to a higher level,” he said.

He added that Agada is a complete football club that will feature in sports competitions in the near future.

“We have also been feeding other clubs with quality players both within and outside the country. Foreign scouts come randomly to pick from our team of players.”

Agada United is a baby of a former Police Machine coach, Noah Agada and a diehard lover of football.

The coach further stated that their doors are always open to skillful and disciplined footballers who aspire to excel in the game.

Already some Nigerian youngsters have left the country for Europe and Asia to ply their trades.

“Ours is a complete football club and that is why we have been pitching our tent bit by bit over the years and now ready to fly higher,” he concluded.
