I Remain consistent, can’t serve in Tinubu’s cabinet – APC chieftain Ojudu

The FrontierThe FrontierApril 1, 2026 860 Minutes read0

•Senator Babafemi Ojudu

Former Special Adviser on Political Matters to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, has said that he was not ready to serve in Tinubu’s administration.

The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in a statement, said, “I remain consistent in my convictions and have no intention of participating in the present government.

“My attention has been drawn to a misleading video compilation circulated by some propagandists, suggesting that I am seeking a role in the current government. This is entirely false.

“I did not grant any interview in March 2026. The last interview I granted to Mr Obilo was last year, in connection with the publication of my book, “Adventures of a Guerrilla Journalist”. My comments in that interview were strictly related to the book and nothing more.

“For the avoidance of doubt, I remain consistent in my convictions and have no intention of participating in the present government. My political position remains unchanged.” Ojudu said.
