Acting National Chairman of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, says the battle for the emancipation of the country has begun.
Addressing stakeholders of the party at a world press conference organised for Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of PDP in the last election, Damagum said, “We may be disappointed, but we are not deterred because we know what happened underground. People are not jubilating because of the situation we have found ourselves in the country.”
Damagum asked journalists to report the right thing that will be said by the former vice president, adding that,” we want Nigerians to know our position. The battle will start from today. We are resolute. All PDP members should not be deterred.”
