•Women in military

A unique book tracing the history, personalities and services of Nigerian women in the military is set for public presentation and launch.

Titled, ‘Women in Military Service in Nigeria’, the book is written by the pioneer Commander of the Nigerian Army Women Corps (NAWC), Major General Preye Fakrogha (retired).

The book launch scheduled to hold on Wednesday December 13, 2023 is billed to be a gathering of military top brass, captains of industry and other notable public figures in the country.

Venue of the book launch is the Army Headquarters Command Mess, Asokoro, Abuja.

Recall that the author, Major General Preye Fakrogha (retired), was recently celebrated by his kinsmen in Kabowei Kingdom, Delta State, for initiating a landmark project which includes a borehole as well as an ultra modern multi-purpose hall named after his late wife, Pastor Mrs Tersoo Preye Fakrogha.

He is also a former Commander Defence Headquarters Garrison.
