Three persons narrowly escaped death today as a fuel tanker exploded in Epe-Ijebu Ode expressway in Lagos State.
The explosion resulted in confusion in the locality as nearby passers-by scampered for safety, reports Nigerian Tribune.
The fuel tanker explosion occurred on the Lagos State end of the road.
Two persons including the truck driver were reported to have escaped from the ill-fated tanker before exploding on the road.
It was learned that the tanker was leaving Lagos when it suddenly exploded around the Old tollgate in Mojoda Community, Epe Local Government Area, Lagos State.
