JUST IN: INEC set to release 2023 elections report today •Speaks on iREV failure

The FrontierThe FrontierFebruary 23, 2024 2920 Minutes read0

•INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu

Barring any last minute change of plans, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC is set to release the 2023 general election report today.

The report would detail all aspects of the election including the technical glitch experienced with the INEC Results Viewing Portal iREV during the presidential election results upload, reports Vanguard.

A glimpse of the report showed that the failure of the iREV was “attributable to the inability of the application to create and build a folder structure to organize the uploaded images of the result sheets of the presidential election.”
