Tinubu returns to Nigeria after 10 days of speculations

President Bola Tinubu has returned from his trip abroad after days of speculations over his whereabouts.

The president returned to Nigeria this morning.

A news flash by the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, simply said: “President Bola Tinubu returns to Abuja after his trips to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.”

The president’s location after his trips to Saudi Arabia on April 29 was shrouded in secrecy.

This was heightened by the initial silence of his media handlers.

But yesterday, Special Adviser to the President on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced in a post on his X handle that the president would return to Nigeria today, after 10 days of speculations.

He wrote: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe.”
