BREAKING: Dangote, Bill Gates in meeting at Aso Rock

The FrontierThe FrontierSeptember 4, 2024 3110 Minutes read0

•Dangote and Bill Gates

Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote and the Chairman of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates, are currently attending the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting is being presided over by its chairman, Vice President Kashim Shettima inside the Council Chambers.

Their presence in the meeting may not be unconnected with their Foundations’ effort to end the wild polio virus in Nigeria.

The meeting is also coming at a time of national outrage over the latest increase in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

Also present at the meeting are governors Babagana Zulum of Borno State; Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa State); Duoye Diri (Bayelsa); Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi); Lawan Dauda (Zamfara State), among others.
