Nobody prays for APC’s pain beyond 2027 — PDP

The FrontierThe FrontierNovember 18, 2024 2802 Minutes read0

The Peoples Democratic Party has declared that Nigerians are praying hard for the pains inflicted on them by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to end by 2027.

National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, was quoted by the media as saying yesterday that after “the heist called election in Ondo State”, Oyo and Osun states would be next for his party’s abduction, reports Nigerian Tribune.

While describing Ganduje’s declaration as wishful thinking, the acting publicity secretary of the PDP in Oyo State, Mr Michael Ogunsina, in a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday, said every Nigerian in every state is praying for the pain inflicted on them by the APC to end by May 2027.

The statement reads: “There is obviously no difference between the power band called APC and forest gangs called bandits. Both spread devastation, sorrow, and tears wherever they capture.

“Is it not a shame and a shock that while the APC leaders’ greed for power and more power is rising, our national grid is collapsing every hour? We shudder to wonder where the APC and its government still get the courage to talk to Nigerians about election.

“Everyone saw the shame and sham they did in Ondo at the weekend. They will be mistaken if they think every leopard could be clubbed to death as they did in places they captured. Thieves can endure in their perfidy for days, but one day is for the owner to catch them. That day will come soon.

“It is a shame that instead of easing people’s burden, what preoccupies the mind of the APC and its leadership are the capture of states and the abduction of people’s destinies. Where then is the difference between what the APC does and what forest bandits do?”

Continuing, the PDP stated that Nigerians are tired of the ruling APC, saying the party are full of people that are progressive only in name.

“Our people are tired of a party and people that are progressive only in name. Ganduje and his cohorts who want to extend the pains of APC to Oyo State should stop plotting against God and the people. We reject the curse from Ganduje and his APC; our God, who hates the wicked, rejects them too.

“Our state has been an oasis of peace, ease and good governance in the midst of the ruins wreaked by the APC across the country. We do not intend to surrender our freedom to predators. And we will not.

“Perhaps we should let the APC people know that no sensible person in Oyo State wants to be inflicted with greater pains than what the people bear now from APC’s misrule.

“A ruling party with conscience would, by now, be working very hard to repair the damage it has done to the economy of our country and the finances of the people. But, because APC cannot give what it does not have, it is not concerned at all about the people’s plight. Its politics is solely about grabbing power, capturing states and snatching people’s joy.

“Nigerians are in deep prayers for deliverance from the one-chance bus that the APC has become. Their prayers will be answered by the grace of God.

“Finally, Nigerians are asking the APC and its government to stop generating darkness and distributing pain to homes and offices. The cry in every town is Enough is Enough. O to gee,” the PDP declared.
