FCT Council election: APC pegs chairmanship nomination form at N20 million

Ahead of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) council elec­tion, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has pegged the chairmanship forms for N20 million.

This is even as the coun­cillor forms were pegged at N2.5 million, reports Daily Independent.

While the nomination form for chairmanship was fixed for N15 million, the ex­pression of interest form was fixed for N5 million, making the total N20 million.

Similarly, the councillor­ship aspirants will pay N2 million for nomination form and N500,000 for the expres­sion of interest form, total­ling N2.5 million.

While the sale of the nom­ination forms will be held between tomorrow, Thursday, May 22, this week, and Wednesday, May 28, next week, May 29 will be the deadline for the submission of the completed nomination forms.
