Man found dead after alleged all-night sex romp in guest house

The FrontierThe FrontierJuly 9, 2026 1371 Minutes read0

A 40-year-old man simply identified as Felix has been confirmed dead after an alleged sex romp with a yet-to-be identified lady in Bayelsa State.

The incident happened at a guest house along Azikoro Road in the Ekeki area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, reports Daily Trust.

Residents of the area told our correspondent that the deceased was found naked and lifeless in one of the guest house rooms after allegedly spending the night with the woman.

Felix was said to be a mobile phone repairer at the shopping complex in Ekeki before the incident.

Shop owners at the shopping complex near the guest house were seen gathering to mourn their deceased colleague.

One of the shop owners told journalists that Felix’s body was discovered by a cleaner yesterday morning while cleaning the room.

The cleaner reportedly raised the alarm after finding the body.

Residents who saw the deceased before the scene was cordoned off by the police said sachets of alcoholic drinks were found on the bedside table beside the body.

It was gathered that three persons, including the owner of the guest house and the cleaner who discovered the body, have been arrested by the police for interrogation.

It was also gathered that the deceased’s brother, identified as Dennis, was initially arrested after he was found with Felix’s mobile phone but was later released after providing what police considered a satisfactory explanation for why it was in his possession.

The spokesperson for the Bayelsa State Police Command, DSP Musa Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, said investigations have commenced to determine the cause of death.

He added that some persons have been arrested and are being interrogated in connection with the incident.
