British-Nigerian heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, has returned to the gym for the first time in weeks.

Joshua, who was involved in an accident while travelling to his hometown in Sagamu, Ogun State, has been mourning the loss of his two friends in the unfortunate encounter.

The deceased friends are Kevin Latif Ayodele, his personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach.

The fighter, who could not complete the journey home, landed in a Lagos hospital and was discharged hours into the New Year.
