The Delta Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Mr Ekemejero Ohwovoriole has urged lawyers to ensure their practice is in tune with 21st century as the profession has gone digital and technologically inclined.
Mr. Onoriode Etastemi ,Public relations officer (PRO) of the ministry of Justice disclosed this in a press statement in Asaba today.
According to the statement, Mr. Ohwovoriole, said this when members of the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum Ogwashi-Uku chapter paid him a courtesy visit.
The commissioner enjoined lawyers to always be diligent in the practice of their profession in order to excel, reports The Guardian.
“The era of a one man chamber has gradually faded away, diligence should be the hallmark of any legal practitioner, whether in government or private practice.
“The Ministry’s determination is to carry along all stakeholders, particularly all branches of NBA in the state in the scheme of things,
“Women lawyers in the Ministry of Justice are good ambassadors of the Forum as they had been discharging their duties creditably,” Ohwovoriole said.
Mrs. Ifeoma Ochei , the facilitator of NBA women forum Ogwashi-Uku chapter said that they were on familiarisation visit to the commissioner.
Ochei also said that the women lawyers’ visit was also to solicit for the Ministry’s support in their planned events for the year.
She commended the good works of the commissioner and the leadership of the ministry in the discharge of their responsibilities.
