It was learnt that among others, the visa will be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance; ticket purchase must be between November 1 and November 3, 2024; visa application is valid from November 1, 2024, to February 1, 2025; and the journey must be completed on or before February 28, 2025, reports Vanguard.

It was further observed that the terms and conditions for the visa include journey must commence from Lagos on EK784; normal eligibility criteria for 96-hour and 48-hour visas apply; applicable to all nationalities originating from Nigeria; available for Dubai-bound and onward travellers; and visas are subject to approval by UAE Immigration.

Recall that after two years of ceasing operations to Nigeria over trapped funds and other issues, Emirates resumed flights to Nigeria on October 3, 2024.
