Ex-convict crossdresser Bobrisky denies N15 million bribery allegations against EFCC operatives

•Bobrisky

Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky who recently served his six months jail term for Naira spraying has refuted claims of bribing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials to drop money laundering charges.

Social media influencer, Martins Otse also known as VeryDarkMan, released an audio recording alleging Bobrisky paid N15 million to EFCC operatives.

However, Bobrisky denied the accusations on Instagram, labeling the audio as fake and stressing that he served his prison term in full.

The EFCC has launched an investigation into the matter with Chairman Ola Olukoyede ordering a probe.

Bobrisky’s statement reads: “My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 million naira, and that I was never in prison… I didn’t pay any EFCC money, which is a very big lie. I served my term in full, and I came out. Discard any false information.”
