The Federal Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT MPWB) has begun distributing 32-kilogram standard luggage bags to pilgrims in preparation for their return from Saudi Arabia.
The move comes ahead of the official commencement of return flights from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria, which the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has scheduled to begin on June 13, 2025, reports Daily Independent.
FCT MPWB officials supervising the process urged pilgrims to strictly adhere to the prescribed baggage limits to avoid complications during transit.
The 32kg bags are part of efforts to standardize luggage allowances and ensure seamless boarding and clearance at airports.
The Board assured that all registered FCT pilgrims will receive their bags before departure, reinforcing its commitment to a smooth, safe, and well-organized conclusion of the 2025 Hajj exercise.
