Eighteen first-term governors elected on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform is currently holding a closed-door meeting at the Kebbi State Government House.
The meeting, hosted by Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, brought together governors from across the country, reports The Nation.
Journalists gathered at the Government House, awaiting a briefing at the conclusion of the meeting.
Governors in attendance are from Sokoto, Kaduna, Jigawa, Plateau, Delta, Ekiti, Taraba, Ondo, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Benue, Kogi and Enugu states, among others.
It was, however, gathered that the governors of Cross River, Niger and Katsina states were absent, having sent apologies.
