How I avoid New Year pressure — Popular content creator Mummy Wa

The FrontierThe FrontierJanuary 11, 2025 4121 Minutes read0

•Kemi Ikuseedun a.k.a. Mummy Wa

Popular content creator, Kemi Ikuseedun, better known as Mummy Wa/ Kemzmama has shared her approach to navigating 2025 with balance and intentionality.

Asked what she has been up to in the New Year, she said, “I have taken time out to work on certain stories and other things I would like to do. I am just dedicating time to work on those stories, and research more on character development certain characters I want to work on,” reports Saturday PUNCH.

Reflecting on her career milestones of 2024, Mummy Wa expressed gratitude for the views her debut movie, ‘My Sunshine’, garnered.

“I am very happy that it even had one million views. There is no good thing that does not come without criticisms. If it’s good, it will definitely come with a lot of people’s opinions about it. I am just happy that at least, people got to watch it.”

When asked about how she avoids pressures in the New Year, Ikuseedun said, “I am not rushing into anything. I am taking my time to avoid any New Year pressure. There are a lot of things I don’t allow to influence me. I try my best not to rush into things, but also not to procrastinate.”

She added that though she was not anticipating any challenge, if they came, she would be ready for them.

“What are challenges if we cannot overcome them? Then they don’t become challenges; they become failures,” she ended.
