I’ll not pay N5 million, Daddy Freeze reacts to court order

Controversial media personality Daddy Freeze has vehemently denied allegations of adultery with Benedicta Elechi, the wife of Paul Odekina.

Despite a court ruling ordering him to pay a fine of N5m, Daddy Freeze maintained his innocence and insists that the allegations are false.

Speaking on his Instagram live, Daddy Freeze stated: “I’ve never slept with any man’s wife before. I’m not guilty of any adultery.”

He also expressed his willingness to send the money to those in need, but asserted that he will never pay for the fine, saying, “I’ll not pay the 5 million naira adultery fine but I can send them N5m to feed”

He further emphasised his innocence, stating that the issue happened 12 years ago.

“My watches alone cost over 100 million naira, but I am innocent, and I will not lose. This happened many years ago; this happened over 12 years ago,” he stated partly.

Daddy Freeze’s denial comes after a High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State ordered him to pay the fine for committing adultery with Benedicta Elechi.

The court’s ruling was upheld by the Appeal Court, dismissing Daddy Freeze’s appeal.

However, Daddy Freeze remains adamant about his innocence and refuses to accept the court’s verdict.
