Immigration introduces complete automated passport application system •HOW TO ACCESS

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) today introduced the complete automated passport application system.

The NIS in a statement regarding the online application and document upload said one can apply from anywhere using its user-friendly portal and upload breeder documents and passport photos effortlessly.

For passport application options, the NIS said fresh, renewal or change of data can be done all in one place while there is a minimized human interface through its streamlined and efficient process.

It added that there is a reduced timeline as applicants can now get their passports in record time with automation.

There is also an improved passport acquisition courtesy of a modern and enhanced experience while the NIS uses the deployment of technology in harnessing innovation for security.

It stated that applicants can now make use of seamless applications which will make their journey smooth and hassle-free.

“HOW TO ACCESS: Visit https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/application for a Passport experience like never before!,” the NIS said.

“DETAILED REQUIREMENTS: Guidelines and specs available on the portal ENQUIRIES +234 912 190 0655, +234 912 155 6359, +234 912 147 7092 — nis.servicom@nigeriaimmigration.gov.ng and nis.reformchampion@immigration.gov.ng.”
