JUST IN: ASUU embarks on indefinite strike

The FrontierThe FrontierSeptember 11, 2024 4240 Minutes read0

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Gombe State University chapter, has declared a total and indefinite strike over unmet demands.

The strike, effective immediately, follows a congress meeting held today, marking the first internal strike action in the university’s 21-year history, reports Nigerian Tribune.

“The strike is necessary due to the university’s failure to address our long-standing demands,” said the ASUU Chairman, Gombe State University chapter.
