Reports have it that an explosion went off around Yidi Road in Offa, a major town in Kwara State with police reportedly cordoning off the area.
Details are however unclear as to casualties or scale of destruction as at press time, reports Daily Independent.
But speaking to the media few minutes ago, police spokeswoman, Kwara Police Command, ASP Ejire Toun- Adeyemi, said the police is already on it.
“Discrete Investigations are ongoing to reveal what happened precisely. Please be patient,” she said in terse WhatsApp message.
