The popular Karu modern market in the nation’s capital, Abuja was yesterday evening gutted by fire.
The fire incident, whose cause could not be ascertained at the moment, was said to have affected a section of the market, reports Nigerian Tribune.
At the time of filing the report, firefighters who had difficulty earlier in gaining access to the market were still battling to put out the inferno.
