•Philip Aduda
Barely three hours after announcing his resignation from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Philip Aduda, has stormed the national secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former federal lawmaker is currently in a closed-door meeting with the APC national chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and some National Working Committee (NWC) members, reports The Nation.
He came in the company of the newly elected chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. Joshua Ishakwu, and his Kuje Area Council counterpart, Hon. Danjuma Shekwkolo.
Aduda had earlier officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, citing ongoing crises within the party.
He communicated his decision in a letter dated March 17, 2026, addressed to the chairman of the PDP in Karu Ward, Abuja.
In the letter, he described his resignation as effective immediately, citing persistent party conflicts as the reason.
