The nationwide protests scheduled for today, Thursday, August 1, 2024, have taken off fully in some parts of the country.

Protesters in Lagos have poured out to the streets, demonstrating, singing and gyrating peacefully as fully armed security personnel look on.

A video obtained from an online publication, Schenge Story Media (SSM), shows the protesters demonstrating with placards under Ikeja bridge in Lagos.
