The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reportedly rejected the list of candidates submitted electronically by Nafi’u Bala.
According to reports, the electoral commission did not accept the online submission, a development that could have significant implications for the affected political process.
The Frontier reports that Bala claims to be the authentic interim National Chairman of the ADC, stating that power legally transferred to him following the resignation of the former chairman under the party’s constitution and Electoral Act.
He is actively contesting leadership against an interim coalition led by David Mark.
However, INEC has yet to issue an official statement explaining the reason for the reported rejection.
