JUST IN: NECO releases 2025 SSCE results

The FrontierThe FrontierSeptember 17, 2025 2221 Minutes read0

The National Examinations Council (NECO) is set to release the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) Internal today, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, by 12 noon at the Council’s Headquarters in Minna, the Niger State capital.

The Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi, is expected to officially announce the results in his capacity as the Registrar/CEO of the national examination body. The event is regarded as an epoch-making occasion by the NECO workforce, who are also expected to attend in large numbers at the Council’s Conference Hall, reports Nigerian Tribune.

In addition, the Council will hold its Productivity Award Ceremony tomorrow, Thursday, September 18, 2025, by 10 a.m. at its Headquarters in Minna.

At the event, newly retired staff members of the Council are expected to be honoured, while the NECO Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) will present gift items to the retirees in appreciation of their service to the union.

The Chairman of NASU, Comrade Terndu Iorshagher, in a brief interview with the Nigerian Tribune in Minna on Wednesday, emphasized that with due diligence, the new retirees have served not only NASU but also the Council in general, and should remain connected to the union wherever they find themselves in society.

“Also, the fact that this phase in their lives has come to an end does not mean an end to their lives, but rather the beginning of a new phase. It is our earnest prayer that society finds them useful and worthy of new assignments. We wish them the best in their future endeavours,” he declared.
