•Speaker Martin Amaewhule and Governor Siminalayi Fubara

The Rivers State House of Assembly today adjourned its sittings indefinitely.

The decision was reached during a plenary session presided over by Speaker Martin Amaewhule.

The adjournment follows a letter from Governor Siminalayi Fubara, proposing Wednesday for the re-presentation of the 2025 budget in compliance with the recent Supreme Court judgment.
