JUST IN: Super Eagles beat Jamaica to win Unity Cup

The Super Eagles defeated Jamaica on penalties in the final of the Unity Cup today, Saturday, May 31.

Nigeria took the lead twice with goals from Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze but Jamaica equalised twice and the game ended 2-2 in regulation time, reports The Nation.

After 90 minutes the game went straight to penalties with Nigeria scoring all their penalties and Goalkeeper Nwabali saving one of Jamaica’s penalty.

The penalty shootout ended 5-4 with debutant Christantus Uche scoring the final penalty.
