Real Madrid left Kylian Mbappe out of their squad to face Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg today owing to a dental problem.
The French superstar did not train with his team-mates yesterday ahead of the game but coach Carlo Ancelotti said the striker would travel to San Sebastian, reports AFP.
Mbappe is Madrid’s leading goalscorer with 28 goals in 39 matches across all competitions this season.
Midfielder Fede Valverde and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois were also left out of the travelling group to recover from minor fitness issues.
England international Jude Bellingham returned to the squad after missing Sunday’s La Liga win against Girona through suspension.
