Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar currently briefing Diplomatic Corps on the ongoing hunger protests in the country and measures the federal government is taking to address the issues raised by the protesters.
The Minister told the diplomats about the government’s fears of the protest being hijacked by hoodlums.
He said the president reached out to all stakeholders across the three tiers of government with efforts towards ensuring that the country is spared the untold violence that has greeted the protest so far.
