Mohbad’s father insists on DNA test to confirm paternity of late singer’s son

•Late Mohbad, son, wife and father

Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Mohbad, has reiterated his doubts about the paternity of Liam, the son of the late artiste, citing the child’s physical appearance as a key concern.

Aloba, who has been outspoken about his quest for justice following Mohbad’s untimely death on September 12, 2023, has called for a DNA test to confirm Liam’s biological connection to Mohbad, reports The Nation.

In a recent interview, Aloba insisted the test was crucial to establish the truth.

“No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me,” he said.

He added that a DNA test should have been promptly arranged when he first raised the issue.

“When I demand DNA, they were supposed to say, ‘Daddy, go and do it at your convenient time.’ It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.”

Aloba affirmed his readiness to accept Liam as his grandson only if the DNA results confirm the child’s paternity, stating, “I would only accept Liam as my grandson if the DNA test says otherwise.”
