Navy to commence online registration for recruitment

The Nigerian Navy announced today that it will open the online registration for recruitment into its Basic Training School on January 2, 2024.

The announcement was made in a statement signed by the Navy Secretary alongside the requirements for recruitment.

“The Nigerian Navy wishes to inform the general public and all potential applicants that the online registration for its Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 36 Recruitment Exercise will commence on Tuesday, 2 January, 2024 and close on Friday, 2 February, 2024,” the statement read.

Applicants are to apply online at www, joinnigeriannavy.com and they must possess a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB in not more than 2 sittings.

According to the statement, school certificate must not be older than 6 years from the date of application.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 — 22 years by 30 April, 2024 for SSCE and its equivalent.

For entry requiring NCE, Diploma (OND), Registered Nurse/Midwife qualifications, as well as Sportsmen/Sportswomen, Imam/Chaplain and Drivers/Mechanics, applicants must be between ages of 18 – 26 years by April 30, 2024.

The Navy Secretary stressed that it is important to note that application is free and applicants are advised to apply once as multiple applications/registrations will be disqualified.

“Applicants are advised to read the detailed instructions and requirements on www.oinnigeriannavy.com. Beware of fraudsters. Do not pay anyone for recruitment,” the Navy Secretary added.
