The business community in Kano State has appealed to the Tinubu-led federal government to redouble its support to their businesses with the view to enhancing the nation-‘s economy.
The Chairman, Kano Business Community , Sabiu Bako, disclosed this, today during a Town Hall Meeting organised by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, reports Daily Sun.
The chairman admitted that businesses in the state were facing numerous challenges which have impacted negatively on the national economy.
Bako observed that proprietors of businesses in the state were not in the picture of a lot of the interventions initiated by the Tinubu’s administration in the last 8 months
He appealed to the government to ensure that the community access these interventions with the aim of enhancing their businesses and building a better economy.
He charged the administration to expedite action in restoring adequate power supply to the state as complete and used the AKK pipe gas lines.
He also implored the federal government to ensure that the programs and interventions meant for boosting farming and agricultura activities are accessed by the target groups in the state.
Earlier speaking, the Minister appreciated the business community in the state as well as listed the various business achievements and opportunities initiated by the Bola Tinubu government.
