Public schools to issue e-report sheet for students in Oyo

The FrontierThe FrontierJanuary 14, 2024 3310 Minutes read0

•Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde

Oyo State Government has directed all the principals and class teachers in public schools to prepare e-assessment report sheets for all students in the state.

The directive was contained in a memo dated January 12, and addressed to all Tutors-Generals by the Permanent Secretary, Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Kafari Babajide.

He warned that any principal or class teacher who failed to comply with directives on or before January 30, 2024 will be penalised, reports The Nation.

Babajide said in the memo: “The state government is keenly interested that all students in the public secondary are issued e-assessment report sheets for the just concluded first term in 2023/2024 academic session.

“All concerned principals and class teachers are by this letter directed to act on this assignment on or before 30th January 2024.

“Be warned that any principal or class teacher who failed to comply with these directives will be penalized.”

It would be recalled before first term break, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, under the Commissioner, Prof Salihu Adelabu had earlier directed all schools in the state to supply the bio-data of students and their parents on EduMix platform.
