The FrontierThe FrontierMarch 25, 2025 4210 Minutes read0

•Nigeria’s Super Eagles

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has named an unchanged lineup for Nigeria’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

Chelle, in his second game in charge, has decided to stick with the same starting XI that beat Rwanda on Friday for the encounter against Zimbabwe, reports The PUNCH.

Leading the attack once again is a two-goal hero against Rwanda, Victor Osimhen.

The Napoli striker will be looking to continue his fine form alongside Ademola Lookman, who also impressed in the last outing.

Stanley Nwabali remains in goal, with Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Bright Osayi-Samuel forming the backline.

In midfield, Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi continue their partnership, while Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon provide width.

Defenders: Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, Bright Osayi-Samuel

Midfielders: Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi

Forwards: Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen

The game started at 4pm and is ongoing.
