•Bashir Isa Gusau and bandits

The youths coordinator of the Northwest Tinubu/Shettima campaign, Zamfara State Chapter, Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, has been reportedly kidnapped by suspected bandits terrorising Zamfara and its neighbouring states.

An eye witness who pleaded anonymity said, “more than 30 armed bandits stormed the residence of Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau in Zamfara State today and abducted him in the presence of his wife, leaving the entire neighborhood in confusion.

“We immediately contacted the state commands of the relevant security agents including the Police, DSS and Civil defence, only to discover that Bashir was nowhere to be found.”

The Frontier reports that Bashir Isa Gusau is a strong member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He holds a sensitive position of the Northwest Tinubu/Shettima Youths Coordinator, Zamfara State Chapter (TSYC), known for vigorously campaigning for the re-election of the president and his vice.
