Tinubu swears-in Musa Aliu as ICPC boss, Olaopa for Civil Service Commission

President Bola Tinubu today officially swore in the new Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr Musa Adamu Aliu recently confirmed by the Nigerian Senate.

The new ICPC Boss and Chief Executive Officer was nominated for confirmation by the Senate, following Tinubu’s approval of the outgone chairman’s request to proceed on pre-end of tenure leave beginning on November 4, 2023, ahead of the expiration of his tenure on February 3, 2024, reports Daily Independent.

President Tinubu also swore in Prof Tunji Olaopa to serve as Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission along with 11 other appointed federal commissioners.

The other members of the FCSC who took oath of office before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) are: Dr. Daudu Ibrahim Jalo, Obong Ededet Eyoma, Dr. Charmberlain Nwele, Rufus N. Godwins, Dr. Adamu Hussien and Aminu Nabegu.

Others are Hindatu Abdullahi, Shehu Aliyu, Odekunle Rukiyat Aduke, Princess Sarah Adebisi Sosan and Dr. Festus Oyebade.
