US election: Trump will restore global sanity, says American-based Nigerian business tycoon, Santuraki

•Chinese President Xi Jinping and Donald Trump

American-based Nigerian entrepreneur and politician, Saidu Ugonoh, has congratulated the 47th President of the United States (POTUS), Mr Donald Trump, for winning the keenly contested race to the America White House.

Ugonoh who is the Santuraki of Ebira land and former Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora to ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives and immediate past governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, said the second coming of Trump would reset the economy of the United States and restore sanity across the globe, reports Daily Independent.

In a congratulatory message shortly after the election was called with Trump surpassing the 270 electoral college votes, Ugonoh commended the resilience and ingenuity of the majority of Americans to choose the path that would usher in an administration that would make America and the world prosper.

According to him, “I am most delighted to congratulate the 47th President of the United States of America, Mr Donald Trump, on his victory today. I predicted over two years ago and even as recently as July this year when Harris was picked by Biden and I stood by my words that Harris was even a more easy walk-over for Trump.

“I predicted Trump was going to win more than 270 electoral college votes and could even garner 290 electoral votes if there would be a landslide victory at all.

“And today, Trump is victorious and this means a lot for us here in the United States of America, Africa as a continent and globally as a matter of fact.

“Trump’s second and last tenure as president should be supported by all well meaning Americans, afterall in America, once the elections are over, people move on to allow the government focus on its promises and I am confident that Trump will just not make America great but the world great.

“His policies resonate with the people and will be beneficial to the world. He has promised to end the war in Gaza, the Russia/Ukraine war and these are some of the troubling issues in the Middle East that have global implications.

“The American economy and border insecurity are some of America’s internal issues and Trump will address them head-on.

“I congratulate him on what he has achieved for himself and this great country called America and this will send the signals that sanity must return across the globe. America needs a Trump and the world needs a Trump at this moment.”
