Use your power to save Nigeria – Charly Boy begs controversial pastor, Odumeje

The FrontierThe FrontierJuly 20, 2024 3480 Minutes read0

•Odumeje and Charly Boy

Veteran singer and activist, Charles Oputa, a.k.a. Charly Boy, has called on a controversial pastor, Chukwuemeka Cyril, popularly known as Odumeje, to use his spiritual power to save Nigeria from burning.

This comes after Odumeje criticised billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote, for not ‘heeding to his prophecy’ about the latter’s refinery in the Ibeju- Lekki area of Lagos, which had a fire incident about a month ago.

Reacting, Charly Boy called on Odumeje to use his power to save Nigeria from burning.

He wrote on X, “Dear Odumeje, we, Nigerians, have humbly come to you. Please can you stop the nation from burning…the economy is plummeting. “We ask for your power in this desperate time of need. “Please, don’t pay any mind to Dangote. He has a lot of money, and the hunger in the land does not get to his side. That’s why he did not understand that he had to be humble before you.”
