We will welcome Kwankwaso to APC – Bashir Ahmad

Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has said the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, would be welcomed into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ahmad, in a post on X, said Kwankwaso has the numbers to excel politically anywhere.

He wrote: “We will gladly welcome Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso and his followers to our great party.

“This is coming after a coalition of APC Youths, urged President Bola Tinubu to perfect Kwankwaso’s return to the ruling party.”

The chairman of the coalition, Ali Mai Sango, said facilitating the return of Kwankwaso back to APC will enhance the prospect of the APC in Kano in 2027.
