Operatives attached to the Ilupeju Division of the Lagos State Police Command have apprehended two suspects, Wasiu Olarenwaju, 39, and Adeolu Adeyemo, 30, for attempted robbery.
The command disclosed this in a statement posted on X.com today.
According to the statement, the suspects attempted to rob a motorist whose vehicle broke down on the Anthony Bridge in Ilupeju area of the state.
The statement read, “Officers of Ilupeju Division, while on patrol within the area, arrested the duo of Wasiu Olarenwaju ‘m’ aged 39 and Adeolu Adeyemo ‘m’ aged 30, while they were attempting to rob a driver whose vehicle had broken down at Anthony Bridge, Ilupeju.”
It added that an investigation into the incident is underway.
